Israel is a land of much contrast. From the mountainous north to the scorched deserts of the south, the landscape is about as diversified as they come. Travel a couple of hours by car and it’s as if you just flew to another planet. With a population of mixed and varied ethnicity, every day life is every bit as contrasted as the land here. From the ultra-orthodox to the wild-at-heart, you’ll meet people from every walk of life here. Such a mix can only give rise to wonderful new experiences, if you come with an open mind and all your senses turned on. The food here is a tantalizing mix of world foods, served with great hospitality and in generous helpings. Street food is certainly among the tastiest you’ll find anywhere, but if high cuisine is what rocks your boat, we have quite a few renowned chefs ready to pamper your tastebuds too. Tel Aviv nightlife is known the world over for it’s vibrant and youthful scene, but if you prefer a more laid back evening, many of the smaller towns and villages have great pubs and local watering holes with a lot of charm too…and the beaches here are full almost all year round. The perfect spot to chill out, post-ride…

Tel Aviv Harbor on a busy Saturday

An old saying here goes: “if you ask 2 Israelis you’ll get 3 opinions” – and this is most certainly true! But don’t be put off by the animated discussions (and the copious amounts of car horns honking!), they are simply part of how people live life here. They may fail to hold the door open for you when you enter a building, but ask anyone for help and they’ll open their home for you.
